Maybe it's because I've moved there recently,
and therefore I do not know the place pretty well,
but in a city like Milan is rare to find those moments of relax and a so-called
"breath of fresh air."
One of those rare moments happened to me when i went to Missoni.
I do not know if it's just me, but this brand is not only a historical force for the Made in Italy, but it makes me feel even makes me think of meditation in all its forms.
The Creativity based on the immersion within ourselves.
To do this, then, what do we need ?
The separation from the urban life. From the city. Absolute silence.
And what does this separation from the urban brings us?
All this leads us to what is the place par excellence, the foundation of everything.
Nature.
And what, if not the forest to represent this concept ?
The Missoni Home for this season has decided to dig and to propose something that would represent their identity.
Their basic concept. The typical colors of the house.
The trees. The Peace of the sense.
Simple and minimal shape furnitures, and collaboration with the artist , Duilio Forte, creator of the forest, again allows to reconcile what has long been debated.
The relationship between art and design.
There are those who endorse some aspects, and some others do not even take it into consideration .
I think the relationship between Forte and Missoni, but also with the Bolon, who has fully and successfully realized the woven floors, it is of paramount importance, as an example of unity between different manufacturing arts .
This scenario createdfor the Salone del Mobile, is a place of meditation and inspiration for artists, artists of all kinds,
as creativity belongs to everyone.
